The dead zone. The time of year every sports fan dreads.

We are now entering the time of year when college basketball and football fans alike start to go into withdrawals. March Madness has just started but when that ends, it seems to all end.

Unless you are baseball fan, it can be a long five months before football starts up again. It seems that some people almost get depressed. As sports are such a big part of my life, so it is for others that carry the same passion for sports.

The great thing is that sports will always be back every year. You just have to wait out that short hiatus between seasons which can at times seem like an eternity. Nevertheless, I know that when college basketball ends, I am one step closer to school being over.

This weekend trip to to Vegas for the WCC basketball tournament has been full of a lack of sleep and awesome basketball games.
We arrived in Vegas late Friday night. We were very lucky to stay at Katelyn's house. He family is so kind to have let us crash at their place. Saturday was a lot of fun but super tiring. We wandered around the strip all afternoon until to the basketball games started at the Orleans Arena. We watched the Gonzaga game that was before BYU's game against Santa Clara.
BYU's game was so up and down. I think my stress levels increased because of that game. Thankfully Tyler Haws was clutch and hit the game winner with 2 seconds left.
Hopefully we can keep pushing through the tournament so that we can get an at large bid for the NCAA tournament. Go Cougs!
